Puppy Training

Early training and socialization is extremely important to raise a well behaved, solid tempered dog so I am offering puppy Board and Trains here on Oahu! Many people don't seek out training until the dog has already developed a behavioral problem. The first 16 weeks of a puppies life is a critical learning and socialization period where it's very important to introduce positive experiences and socialization. My goal is to provide appropriate foundations at an early age to help prevent those issues from occurring. Socialization will involve taking the puppy to new places daily, exposing puppy to new sounds, objects, and footing. Socialization wilI be age appropriate for the puppy, if vaccinations are not completed yet the puppy's outings will be in areas without many dogs and the puppy will not touch the ground.

Puppy Board and Train Program

The Puppy Board and Train Program involves puppies boarding at my house. Owners get weekly in person lessons. Many board and train programs involve dogs boarding for a full month. Board and Trains will be a minimum of 1 week.

Requirements

  • Puppies must be between 8 weeks and 6 months of age.
  • Puppies must have received their first DHPP vaccine and a Bordetella vaccine.
  • Puppies must have a recent negative fecal test.

  • Vet Records
  • Your puppies food.
  • 1 bag of small, soft training treats. I recommend Bil Jac soft training treats found at PetSmart.
  • Harness that fits your puppy. I reccomend 2 Hounds Design Freedom No Pull Harness found on Amazon.
  • Collar with ID tags.
